Linn firefighters group raises funds for 15 area departments
The Linn County Fire Fighters Association raised about $13,000 in 2000 from a fund raiser. Fourteen Linn County agencies and one Benton County agency shared grants up to $800 each, with the Atkins Fire Department receiving because it covers Linn County areas. The total was about $2,000 more than 1999.
