No Atomic Radiation Danger Seen in Blast at Hanford
Fred C. Schlemmer, manager of the Hanford atomic works, said there was no danger of atomic radiation from a chemical explosion that injured three men and caused minor damage. The blast occurred away from plutonium production, and all three injuries were minor from flying debris with thirteen others escaping.
