Another Confession Made In Oklahoma Farm Home Slayings
W D Lyons a 28 year old resident of Hugo confessed with a companion to murdering Elmer Rogers and his wife and son at a Fort Towson area farm home December 31. The victims were hacked with an ax and the house burned to hide the crime. The ax was found buried as Lyons described. Lyons named Van Bizzel who denied involvement. Houston Lambert who confessed last January 12 faces a sanity hearing. Lyons said robbery motive drove the break in.
