Craemer's Store Sold To Chicagoan Pech In Cedar Rapids
The Craemer family announced the sale of its Cedar Rapids Craemer's department store merchandising facilities to Eugene Pech of Lisle Illinois. The price was not disclosed. Craemer's, established 1893, is Cedar Rapids' oldest family operated retailer with long local history. Pech has ties to Alden's Chicago division. The downtown store spans from 211 First Avenue SE to 208 Second Avenue SE and includes the Lin- block.
