Cedar Rapids School Board Reports Dropout Rate at 10 percent

Of 6,945 students, 238 quit, with 116 boys and 123 girls, marking the first time girls surpassed boys in dropout figures. Grade breakdown shows seven to twelve levels with 1 in seven, 7 in eight, 21 in nine, 36 in ten, 75 in eleven, and 64 in twelve.
