Independence man John Beck, charged with three counts of simple assault, says slaps and kicks were all in fun after wrestling with his three stepdaughters aged 14, 15, and 17. His wife Lila Beck faces one assault count. The girls reported the incidents to DHS in December and were removed from the home.
