Obesity rises among diabetics and undiagnosed cases grow
A JAMA report notes obesity among participants jumped from about 42 percent to 55 percent. The study cites 13 million Americans with diabetes and about 5 million with undiagnosed cases, most with type 2 diabetes tied to diet, inactivity and overweight. More children are developing the condition.
