Doyle Hill of Granite County JP condemns Brown for contempt after Barry Lee Brown sent a $35 speed fine paid with a felt tip pen on clean men’s underwear. Brown, 38, was jailed for refusing to attend a hearing. the check was honored.

She directed the house from 1927 helping immigrants teach classes run a soup kitchen and develop a gym and child and adult programs with Marvel Foster and Ruth Griffith as close collaborators. A graveside service is planned for Oak Hill Cemetery and a memorial at St Pauls United Methodist Church Cedar Rapids.
