Public Safety Officers fatally shoot driver at Floyd County truck stop
Officers from Floyd County Sheriff Bremer Chickasaw Nashua Police and Iowa State Patrol pursued a man at Love's Truck Stop Floyd after a 911 call. The driver qualified a gun to his head fled Highway 218 reached 104 mph and struck an officer before two officers shot him. He died at the scene and the DCI investigates.

Coralville homicide to be featured on true crime show
The Case with Paula Zahn will air A Murder In Coralville at 9 p.m. Sunday on Investigation Discovery. It covers the death of Vicki L. Klotzbach, 22, who vanished Oct 20, 1981, was found in a rural Coralville field, shot and sexually assaulted. DNA testing in 1996 led to Richard Dodd's 2003 conviction.
