Overturned Semi Closes I-80 in Coralville
An overturned semi blocked both westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near the First Avenue overpass in Coralville for about two and a half hours Friday morning. The driver, with minor injuries, was transported to University Hospitals in Iowa City. No weather factor, and the cargo of mushrooms and potatoes remained inside the trailer as traffic backed up for about five miles. The crash remains under investigation.
