Pocketful of Pontiac from Whitmer class maps city to kids
A group of 13 000 students in Whitmer High School’s class create a Pocketful of Pontiac to publicize their city. Items include a football from the Lions Silverdome, P O P balloons for Academic Olympics, a Flexibus model from GM, and a lake and Clinton River serving Pontiac. The list highlights local pride and Pontiac’s ties to GM and native history.
