Let Me Run seeks Iowa boys program expansion
Iowa City mother Charity Nebbe recalls Boys on the Run interest and hosts a 7 to 8 p.m. meeting at the Iowa City Public Library to discuss Let Me Run a seven week wellness program for preteen and teen boys training for a 5K. Organizer seeks 10 area schools with April coach training and aims for a fall start. The nonprofit began in 2009 in Charlotte NC led by Ashley Armistead to counter the Boy Code described by William Pollack.
