Man pleads guilty in Iowa City 2012 shooting robbery
De Marco Dudley pleaded guilty to second degree robbery in the 2012 Breckenridge Mobile Home Park shootout that left Ivan Hardeman dead. He faces up to 10 years and, under a plea deal, may testify in an unrelated case. Dudley is set to be sentenced March 17.

Police say 54 year old Susan L Hopfensperger exploited her mother’s death in October 2011 by cashing annuity checks and not reporting the death to the life insurer. She allegedly diverted nearly $45 000 from the estate and was jailed on one count of first degree theft.
