Miss Lot Dorsey at Florida Bank of DeLand recalls an elderly Negro customer who arrived with a battered trunk claiming it held his life savings. The trunk yielded $1,612.50 in coins, including 7,650 pennies, which the man counted and deposited before saying he could sleep at night.
