Rodney Heemstra 42 of Milo is held in Warren County jail after being charged with first degree murder in the death of 52 year old Tommy Lyon of Milo. Lyon's body was found near his cattle feedlot after he was last seen Monday morning.

Madison County bridge to be rebuilt with $700,000 grant
Madison County plans to reconstruct the burned Cedar Bridge northeast of Winterset with a $700,000 federal grant, supplementing about $300,000 in insurance and private contributions. The rebuilt bridge will mirror the 1883 structure and reopen by spring 2004. Arson investigation continues with no arrests yet.
