In a snowy wood Uncle Wiggily the rabbit spots a mouse boy and three mouse girls at a tree. The boy is pulling an ice block with a rope while planning to give his sisters a ride as he jokes about retrieving them.
Uncle Wiggily takes pity on three hungry mouse children unable to ride their homemade ice sled. He recalls his own sled and gathers old cigar box and hockey sticks to craft a proper sled. The mice ride home happily with Nurse Jane’s cheese crackers and a pancake blanket.
The undersigned on January 7 1936 was appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of William Lamb late of Linn County Iowa deceased. All creditors should promptly pay and file claims against the estate with the Linn County District Court. The executor is Merchants National Bank with Geo. E. Parmer as attorney.
