Hollywood Producers defend safety on Circus of the Stars

Producer Bob Stivers says the Circus of the Stars and Celebrity Daredevils shows have not seen major injuries in eight years. He notes Linda Evans and Gil Gerard injuries are untrue or minor, while Dana Plato was hurt in a fall but insists overall safety protocols work. He also mentions Nancy Reagan possibly appearing on Differ ent Strokes and other studio developments.

Cincinnati Symphony reaches $4 million with $2 million gift

Funds toward a $7 million summer home for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra have reached four million dollars after a two million dollar donation from the Corbett Foundation. The joint announcement came from orchestra chairman David J. Joseph Jr. and Corbett Foundation president James M. Ewell.

Anna Karenina Opera to Open LA Theatre Season

The Iain Hamilton opera Anna Karenina will debut in London in May 1981 and open Los Angeles Opera Theater's fourth season on March 16 with a new full production using multimedia techniques.
