Cedar Rapids district to buy land for new Tauke middle school

Land School plans a 90 million dollar middle school on six Linn County parcels to be annexed by Cedar Rapids using funds from the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. The Tauke family legacy will be honored with a memorial and Tauke Trail. The PPEL renewal kept taxes steady, with 72 percent voting yes among about 4,250 voters.

CRCSD buys land for new middle school in Cedar Rapids
