State list of family planning providers criticized as confusing
The Gazette reports Iowa’s publicly posted list of 1,431 so called providers includes dermatologists surgeons and others who do not offer family planning services. Critics say the database is not user friendly may deter clients seeking birth control tests and STD treatment.
