In 1981 82 contract talks two Cedar Rapids districts plan fact finding and mediation sessions. College Community district opens at 11 a.m. Saturday in Prairie High School library with Cyrus Alexander as fact finder. Cedar Rapids Community district mediation led by Robert Bergstrom, with another session for custodial staff to follow. Secretarial clerical mediation set for Jan 21 or 22 with Bill Weier as mediator. Five Drivers Arrested for Drunk Driving in Linn County
Five persons, including Richard L. Walters 22 Lois M. McDaniel 32 Kim L. Christianson 30 Jeffrey C. Wallace 28 and Mary J. Ealy 40 were arrested and charged with drunk driving in Linn County late Tuesday into today. Walters McDaniel Christianson Wallace and Ealy faced additional counts such as speeding stop light disobedience license suspension and carrying a concealed weapon. A buck knife was found during a weapons search at the Linn County Jail.
