Cedar Rapids approves multiple city measures at Wednesday council
The Cedar Rapids city council acted on numerous items including purchasing an alternator and regulator, a typewriter, and four computer discs, setting Feb 2 public hearings for federal bus funds and zoning changes, establishing no parking zones, and plans for street lights and a 911 system. The meeting included many petitions and third readings for rezoning and street projects with residents voicing no objections at public hearings.
