Eastern Iowa bike path debate on the Cinder Path trail
Conservations and farmers from three counties toured the 9 mile Cinder Path from Chariton to Derby to compare it with a proposed Cedar Rapids to Waterloo railbed trail. The ride highlighted costs, fences, vandalism, and the debate over using abandoned rights of way for recreation versus farming.
