Caregiver champion Kathy Good earns Worldmaker award
Kathy Good, senior director at the DeWolf Innovation Center for Aging and Dementia in Cedar Rapids, was named the third annual Community Weaver Award recipient by Worldmaker Resilience Institute. Her work since 2014 includes the Mercy Cedar Rapids Family Caregivers Center and the 2023 DeWolf Innovation Center, with programs like veteran caregiver forums memory cafes and a caregiver database, all aimed at supporting stressed or isolated caregivers and changing views on aging.
