Two Iowa Soldiers Die in Iraq Crashes

Iowa confirms the weekend deaths of Maj. Stuart Anderson and Sgt. Nathan Field in Iraq. Anderson, 44, from Dubuque, died when a UH-60 Black Hawk crashed near Tal Afar on Saturday. Field, 23, from Lehigh, was killed when a Humvee was struck by a civilian vehicle in Umm Qasr.

National teen driving study to install in-car cameras

The University of Iowa researchers will fit newly licensed drivers from the Clear Creek Amana district with small video cameras that record a 20 second clip around abrupt moves. One camera observes the driver, the other what happens in front of the car. The goal is safer teen driving.
