Plane crash in Charlotte kills 21 aboard US Airways Express
A Beech 1900 twin engine turboprop on a southbound takeoff at Charlotte Douglas International Airport veered back toward the hangar and exploded, killing all 21 aboard. Pilot reported an emergency before contact was lost. Names of those on board include Caitlin Albury and Katie Leslie among others. Partial flight data recovered for investigation.
