Otepka Case Report Faults Dept Soft Treatment of Witnesses
The Senate internal security subcommittee accuses the State Department of mild handling of three officials tied to the Otto Otepka case. It notes two lied to the panel and resigned with no adverse records, while a third remained on staff. Belisle later denied knowledge of a bug but was told of it upon return.
