Governor Robert Ray said he will critically review the 7 cent per gallon gasohol tax break while backing a state parks user fee as reasonable. Transportation staff want to speed the break’s end but Ray stopped short of endorsing the plan, saying he will look at whether oil companies gain too much from the tax advantage. He also supported park user fees of 2 dollars daily or 10 dollars yearly and noted upcoming hearings on leaf burning with a short legislative session possible.
