Fish consumption tied to lower risk of sudden cardiac death
Study from the Physicians Health Study led by Dr Christine Albert at Brigham and Women's Hospital finds that eating fish at least once a week halves the risk of sudden cardiac death over 11 years. Dark meat fish showed weaker protection, while omega-3s are suspected but results were limited by self reported intake and study design.
