Lotion project blends chemistry and business at Central City High
Central City High School students led by Amanda Morrow and Lanie Edgerly run a six week lotion and perfume project that combines lab work with building a customer driven business. Teams earn a $50 budget by selling stock to teachers and create logos campaigns and job roles while facing realistic challenges including disputes and cyber issues. The project culminates in a cable presentation graded by peers using the Iowa Communications Network.
