Thompson Truck and Trailer finishes a new Cedar Rapids headquarters at 7820 Sixth St SW. The 71 500 square foot facility doubles the size of the old site and will be fully operational by Monday with plans for a spring ribbon cutting and a summer customer open house. It adds a 19 500 square foot body shop and a 28 000 square foot service department. The move creates 10 to 12 new jobs and places the dealership closer to Interstate 380 to better serve customers.
