Select Area Chairmen for Cancer Drive
Six area chairmen were announced Wednesday morning at a meeting to launch recruiting of more than 2,500 volunteer participants in Cedar Rapids educational and fund raising Cancer Crusade. Mrs. Seidel said the goal is to reach every Cedar Rapids home with cancer education and organize 280 captains and about 10 volunteers each. The drive aims to enroll 2,500 to 2,800 volunteers before house-to-house contact begins in April, with a first 1966 educational program set for January 5 at Mercy School of Nursing.
