Iowa State economists forecast 1935-36 hog market 5 percent lower
Iowa State college economists predict hog marketings for the 1935-36 marketing year will fall about 5 percent from 1934-35, concentrated in the first quarter. They expect nine months of increases later, with the end of the year showing the largest gain, aided by spring pig crop growth and heavier hog feeding.
