Linn County caucus turnout splits Romney Paul edge over Santorum
In Linn County Iowa last night voters backed Mitt Romney 43 to 42 for Ron Paul with Santorum close behind. Two UNI freshmen and other locals described choosing between Romney and Paul while some were turned away at doors and others urged by surrogate speakers. Precinct 23 proved Romney’s stronghold as supporters cited defeating Obama as a priority.
