Unity in the making at First United Methodist North Liberty
The church shifted from a planned English only bilingual approach to a full Spanish bilingual service after a parishioner questioned access. Since October 2012 the Sunday 11 15 a m service draws 50 to 70 attendees with translators growing from one to four. The Crossroads band now includes Hispanic members and translates songs to Spanish.
