Lean On Me mentors educate Cedar Rapids youths on diversity and drugs
A diverse group of 22 high school students from Jefferson Kennedy and Washington in Cedar Rapids formed Lean On Me to present at McKinley Middle School. They cover Tru Colors lessons in diversity, healthy relationships, and real life looks at drugs and alcohol. The group trained 40 hours last summer and spoke to about 50 sixth graders in December.
