UIH Iowa professor leads 6.4 million Huntington's trial
University of Iowa researcher Dr. Jane Paulsen will lead a 500 participant, 20 site study funded by the NIH to test delaying Huntington's disease before symptoms appear. The project will use brain scans to identify when therapy should begin and could model pre onset treatments for other diseases.
