Stalin Anne Klein 50 of Hiawatha died December 30 2014 at St Luke Hospital Cedar Rapids after a brief illness. A memorial Mass is 11 am January 5 at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Cedar Rapids. Burial arrangements Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Survived by husband Kenneth J Klein three daughters two grandkids and extended Shaw family. Donations to Hodgkins Lymphoma are invited.

Charles Edward Beatty 88 of Vinton died December 31 2014 at St Luke's hospice in Cedar Rapids surrounded by family. Funeral services will be January 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church Vinton with interment at Oakwood Cemetery Shellsburg Visitation January 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Vinton Memorials suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church He was a Shellsburg High School graduate served in the US Army during the Korean War married Marcella Robbins in 1950 later wed Suzanne Beatty and was a farmer and business owner He is survived by his children stepchildren grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings. His family expresses gratitude to Virginia Gay Hospital Annex and St Luke's Hospital for care.
