Evansdale Post Office Seeks Reopening Amid Limbo
Evansdale has filed a second appeal to reopen its post office as the Postal Regulatory Commission weighs the Dec. 21 filing. The Oct. 21 2011 closure aimed to cut costs though records show the branch generated more revenue than expenses. Postal spokesman Richard Watkins cited usage and revenue in the decision.
