Eva Gladys Everett 103 of Edgewood died December 31 2002 at Edgewood Convalescent Home from complications of age. Services 11 a m Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church Edgewood burial County Corners Cemetery rural Strawberry Point. She is survived by two daughters Verla Horner Evelyn Meader a son Edwin Everett 22 grandchildren 50 great grandchildren 25 great great grandchildren and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband two daughters two sons two brothers and six sisters.

Mary Joan Boland age 96 of Aurora Illinois formerly of Fairfax Iowa died Monday December 30 2002 in an Aurora hospital from complications of age. Graveside services 11 AM Sunday at St Michael s Cemetery Norway Iowa with Sister Maryann Greenwald of St Patrick s Fairfax. Memorial Mass 10 AM Saturday at St Therese Catholic Church Aurora Illinois. She is survived by a niece and two nephews and several grandnieces and grandnephews. Her funeral reflected a life in music education with a career in East Aurora Public Schools retiring in 1971. Memorials to St Therese or Alzheimer s Disease Research are invited.

Olin Man Seriously Injured In Jones County Rollover
Olin resident Michael Chamberlin aged 52 was hospitalized in Iowa City after a single vehicle rollover on County Road E45.
