Windows of Opportunity for Merrill Glass Artists
Mark and Jeanne Bogenrief of Merrill began stained glass during the 1978 IBP strike in Sioux City. Now owners of Jeanne's Jewels, they created a four panel window set showing four women after paintings by Alphonse Mucha. The 4-by-9-foot panels contain about 4,500 pieces each and are exhibited in a Barrington Hills mansion, purchased for a six figure sum.
