The Kids of 2000 surveyed students at Wallagrass Elementary School in Soldier Pond Maine to gauge what was considered cool for the year 2000. The mini page report highlights trends among local children and reflects broader youth culture at the time.
Soldier Pond lies in northern Maine about 200 miles north of Bangor with around 600 residents. The area relies on potato farming lumber and tourism with snowmobiling as a major draw.
