Temperatures were mild nationwide on Wednesday though the Northeast faced windy wet weather. Gusts reached 46 mph at McGuire Air Force Base and 56 mph in Albany. Light precipitation scattered from the lower Great Lakes to northern Pennsylvania while storms dotted the Southwest and Southeast. Flood warnings persisted in parts of Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Michigan, and across the central Gulf Coast and Mississippi Valley.
Thousands rallied at a Farm Bureau event as Jon Wefald urged unity across parties and warned against free market plans. He challenged Stockman to debate anytime, anyplace while supporters pressed for parity and fair prices. Boos met Kleckner before he framed farming profitability over credit. Yahnke’s sister declined further comment on the charges.
