Davenport officer-involved shooting during arrest in Davenport
Davenport police say a man identified as Frank Elfgin, 50, was shot by officers at a residence Saturday after allegedly attacking them with a knife. Elfgin died at a Davenport hospital. Three officers were injured and placed on leave as the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Scott County Sheriff’s Office investigate.
