Hancock group fights Florida Light and Power over wind farm poles
Hancock County residents and landowners known as the 210th Street Objectors say Florida Light and Power placed turbines and collection system poles in ditches without easements. The dispute involves county and landowner rights as FPL advances 138 to 148 turbines across 80 square miles between Duncan and Klemme.

Clinton considers tearing down old post office building
The 101 year old Clinton post office, vacated in 1991, may be razed as officials seek other uses. Covnants from 1986 limit alterations, hindering renovation, while a preservation push seeks removal of those covenants to save the structure.
