Motorcyclist dies in head on crash on Highway 30
A 2003 BMW rider died after colliding with a 2005 Freightliner flatbed truck on Highway 30 near Mount Vernon. The truck driver, Roger Gray, 68, of Swisher, was uninjured. An autopsy was performed at Mercy Medical Center Cedar Rapids. traffic was detoured for about four hours.
