Manslaughter sentence closes Jetseta case with life terms
Teresa Gage hailed victory as Judge Grady handed Roger Bentley two life terms and 150000 in restitution for the abduction, rape, and murder of Jetseta. Bentley, silent, will be processed for prison after a rejected defense bid for a new trial and DNA evidence tying him to the crime. The sentencing follows the 2005 abduction in Cedar Rapids and the discovery of Jetseta’s body in an Iowa rural mobile home.
