Brass Rubbings Bring Medieval Tales To Gallery
Cornell freshman Nancy Flint filled Armstrong gallery with 46 brass rubbings from tomb covers dated thirteenth to sixteenth centuries. She taped paper over covers and rubbed wax to reproduce minute details, noting historical customs and locations. The project blends art and history, fueling her interest while she majors in music.
