Prosecutor says agencies cooperated in fatal kidnapping case
Linn County and area agencies worked with the prosecutor on the arrest of three men in the kidnapping and fatal assault of 20-year-old Melody Hoffman of Marion. McKinley Louisma and Dakota Van Patten face first degree murder and kidnapping charges. Hoffman died of strangulation with stab and slash injuries.
