Cedar Rapids lawyer disbarred for misappropriating client funds
Iowa Supreme Court revoked the license of Susan L. Hense of Hense Law Firm after she admitted misappropriating about 800000 from client accounts to feed a gambling addiction. She consented to disbarment in a sworn affidavit dated December 27 and plans to report the misconduct to authorities and aid mitigation for affected clients. No charges have been filed. federal authorities handle the case.
