Mrs Longears tells of a poor rabbit family the Jumpers with ten children lacking food. Uncle Wiggily empties his cellar of carrots to aid them, while he worries about his own supply. Baby Bunty brings surprising news that may relate to a future discovery, as a weather note closes the piece.
